Manual installation of FraunDiff 1.0 under Windows:

At installation, the following procedure must be followed:

1. Make sure that appropriate DAC drivers (Computerboards, Measurement computing, e.g. CIO-DAS08-AOH)
are installed and properly configured.

2. Create the FraunDiff folder and copy the following files from the installation media:
FraunDiff\			- folder
FraunDiff\Fraundiff.exe		- file
FraunDiff\Fraundiff.hlp		- file
FraunDiff\Fraundiff.cnt		- file
FraunDiff\Lesmeg.txt		- file
FraunDiff\Data			- folder
FraunDiff\Image			- folder

3. Make sure that the following files exists in the system folder (e.g. Windows\System):
MFC42.DLL
MSVCRT.DLL'
ADVAPI32.DLL
CBW32.DLL
COMCTL32.DLL
OLE32.DLL.
OLEAUT32.DLL
COMDLG32.DLL
MSVCRT.DLL
VERSION.DLL
OLCH2X32.OCX
OLEPRO32.DLL
OLCHART.LIC

4. Execute the following commando:
C:\Windows\System\regsvr32   c:\Windows\System\olch2x32.ocx

5. Create shortcut to FraunDiff in the Start Menu.

6. Start the application.

7. Calibrate the stepmotor by noting the number of steps used from 0.5 mm to 99.5 (Menu: Advanced\Stepmotor\Run). 
The stepmotor constant (step/mm) is then found by dividing the number of steps by (99.5-0.5 = 99) mm. 
This number can be entered into the application by the routine Advanced\Stepmotor\Step Constant. 

8. Calibrate the detector position by reading off the position on the scale below the detector.
The position (in mm) is registered in the program i the routine Advanced\Detector Position
